An Innu originally from Mashteuiatsh on the shores of Lake Pekuakami, Soleil Launière lives and works in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). A multidisciplinary artist, she combines singing, movement and theater with performance art. In the fall of 2023, she unveiled her soul-roots debut album Taueu, imbued with pop melodies and magnetic arrangements that draw us into a mysterious and soothing landscape.

On stage, with the seasoned musicians of CHANCES (Chloé Lacasse, Geneviève Toupin, Vincent Carré) and Simon Walls, she combines vocal harmonies and strong percussion with performance art. This intriguing new project transports the audience into a deep and gripping experience.
