Kinji00, an 18-year-old rapper from Gatineau and a new sensation in Québec rap, is nothing less than the CEO of Québec’s independence project (Tout le monde en parle confirmed). By his side is his brother lb66, the producer behind their latest mixtape, À la prochaine fois.

Together, they represent the growing wave of “plug” music within Québec hip-hop, alongside fellow artists such as Monsi, Monzo & Trapmat Savior, to name a few. Born in Portugal, Kinji00 first gained attention on social media, racking up nearly 15 million views on TikTok while loudly proclaiming that “his favourite flower is the fleur-de-lys.”
